Baking and building love
Tayla & Damon Mazzarolo
30th April 2022
Our beautiful client, Tayla, met her now-husband, Damon, on the clock. She was a delivery driver for a local bakery and Damon was an apprentice builder. He was working on a new building right next to a site Tayla would deliver to every day and he just so happened to loiter out the front come the time Tayla was due there, just to say hello.
One thing led to another, and now they’re Mr and Mrs Mazzarolo! Our beautiful couple celebrated their traditional Catholic wedding on Saturday 30 April 2022, successfully navigating the crazy lockdowns of the preceding two years.
Tayla took one of her favourite photos from her big day, courtesy of the incredible Sarah Dissegna Photography, and hightailed it over to Adrienne for an Illustration. Our beautiful bride said
“The attention to detail that Adrienne puts into her artwork is absolutely stunning - there is no one else I would have trusted”.
Take a peek behind the scenes of their gorgeous day below!
How would you describe your wedding day?
It was everything I wanted it to be.
What was your inspiration or vision when planning your big day?
Timeless, neat and simple elegance.
Did you have any must-haves or non-negotiables?
A smooth, stress-free day, and an incredible band for everyone to dance to. Shout out to Blume Events!
What were your stand-out moments from your big day?
Saying “I do” and celebrating afterward with all our family and friends.
Were there any helpful apps or websites you used to help you research or plan for your big day?
Excel is the only thing you need.
Was there anything you planned into your big day that you recommend other couples consider for their own?
We lit a candle in memory of my brother during the ceremony. I would suggest including a memorial table to remember family you have lost with labels explaining who those people are to the couple.
A Note From The Artist:
I was really humbled when Tayla got in touch for a custom artwork. Tayla and I had never personally met but it was through our brother’s and their personal stories that we came to know each other. Hearing so much about Tayla and her family made receiving her wedding photos so much more special. To see the happiness she had found with Damon was beautiful and I felt incredibly humbled that she had thought of me to create an artwork representing that.
In loving memory of Kyle Zandona, a loving brother, son, and friend.
