We know we don’t need to tell our incredible followers just how special it is when you find your soulmate - all of Adrienne’s beautiful pieces tell stories of love, safety, comfort and pure joy.
But there’s one thing that comes reeeally close to that feeling, and that’s when your best friend - your ride or die, sister from another mister, absolute bestie - finds the love of their lives and you get to bask in that beautiful happiness.
That’s exactly how we met our lovely client, Hannah, who contacted us wanting to commission her best friend, and bride, Ebru, a custom piece by Adrienne.

Hannah said she met Ebru in kindergarten and they had been inseparable ever since - now, some may say that’s the true love story! She met Ebru’s now husband, Muhammad, at Ebru’s house after they had been dating a little while, which is always a big step and she approved right away. Hannah said he was a proper gentleman - nice, respectful and told a few cracking jokes that made her laugh. But, most importantly, Hannah said she knew he was “the one” for her bestie from that very moment because she could see Muhammad was serious about the relationship and his love for her bestie was evident - and really, what else could you ask for?!
Hannah helped plan the proposal, saying it was so hard to keep the secret but so exciting to be part of it all. With the amount of love between them, Hannah could only describe their big day as happy and so magical. The stand-out moment for her was the look of Muhammad’s face when he arrived at Ebru’s house to pick her up - “priceless”!
While we work with a lot of Brides who get in touch to create something special for their grooms (or, let’s face it, as a “treat yo’self” piece!), and vice versa, it was amazing to work with Hannah to have a custom piece made for her best friend. Hannah said she thought one of Adrienne’s masterpieces would be the perfect gift because it’s such a “special keepsake…nothing could compare to the beautiful illustrations Adrienne creates!”

A Note From The Artist:
I still remember the day Ebru’s best friend Hannah contacted me for this special commission, it was far before her friend’s wedding had taken place and she wanted a special gift to be able to gift on the wedding itself. This is a little less common, as typically I work off my couple’s wedding photos to create my paintings, so, with no reference images from the wedding itself, this one took a little more imagination on our part.
I have to say, this has always been one of my favourite pieces, the pose we chose to paint the couple in just feels so intimate and celebratory and shares so much joy. Sadly this gift took a little longer to receive that anticipated, as Ebru and Muhammad’s wedding was sadly postponed due to covid. But they were able to have their big day in the end and I’m so glad I could help bring Hannah’s vision to life for this very special gift to her bestfriend on her wedding day.
I work with a lot of clients that don’t have the ‘perfect image’ from their wedding day. They come to me to create something special to remember their day and create a moment they wish they had captured. Hannah’s order above is a good example of how you don’t need a lot of photos to create something special. That’s why I’m here, to help bring your vision to life!
