When Cameron sent Stefanie a friend request on Facebook back in 2017, we bet he didn’t think he had just added his future wife to his friend list!
Cameron said he added his wife based on the “people you may know” suggestions and, before long, the two started talking on Facebook Messenger more and more. After about a month they met up in person and, as Stefanie says, the rest is history!
This lovely Canadian couple had planned on enjoying a European holiday, where Cameron was planning to propose in front of the Trevi Fountain in Rome - che bella! Unfortunately, COVID-19 had other ideas so Cameron pivoted his proposal plans. He ended up bending down on one knee on a beautiful beach, with the help of their dog, Odin, and one of Stefanie’s best friends.

Stefanie describes her wedding day as “magical - full of tears and pure happiness”. Find out how they made it all happen below!
What was your inspiration or vision when planning your big day?
The more flowers the better was my goal! We ended up having two giant trees with a bunch of flowers within them and our head table was floating with flowers.
What were some of the harder parts of wedding planning?
Awaiting the RSVPS.
What about the more enjoyable parts?
Selecting the flowers and my wedding dress.

Were there any helpful apps or websites you used to help plan your big day?
I have to say The Knot, 100%.
How many wedding dresses did you try before you found ‘the one’?
I tried on 4 and said yes to the one that same day.
What are your stand-out moments from your big day?
When Cameron cried during our first dance, he really showed all his emotion that day and it was beautiful.
What advice would you give to other couples currently planning their wedding?
Do not sweat the small stuff because everything will be as perfect as it can be on your big day and, trust me, you won’t notice if it isn’t!

A Note From The Artist:
There are not a lot of times when I get to create a beautiful landscape piece, but when my Bride has a beautiful long gown, it’s pretty much the perfect excuse for it! Landscape pieces are so beautiful, they work exceptionally well with an image like Stefanie and Cameron’s where the couple are sharing a kiss.
This side profile shot focuses on a really intimate moment between the couple but we still get to feature and give the Brides incredible dress some much-deserved attention as well.
We created an A3/Medium Custom Landscape Painting for Stefanie and Cameron.
